Beautiful place. Extremely clean we have been traveling for 3 months and this is by far the cleanest shower i have been in! Nice location close to beach, restaurants and internet. Cleaning lady was friendly too. More like a hotel than hostel. I would stay there again!

Tina, Germany | Female 18-24 | 27th August 2008

super nice! I was there in august, so it was low season and I shared only one of my four nights in the 3 bed dorm with an other german girl! The rooms are bright, verry lean and have a good bathroom. You feel like living in a hotel! People and stuff were verry nice! The hostel is outside of the shopping or party zone(2-3 USD by taxi), but therefore close to beautiful beaches(5-10min walk). One of the best hostels I´ve ever been!

the very best place to stay. I had a wonderfull time at quinta lili. i stayed there for 2 weeks. it's one of the best places i've been on my travells. small, nice, great pool and sunbeds, delicious breakfast, very clean rooms, very friendly staff, quiet location but restaurants, shops, cafes, internet and a beatiful beach are near by. the best place to stay.

christamoeller245, USA | Female 31-40 | 17th August 2008

Thank you so much Claire and Luis! I only wish I could have stayed with you longer! The kindest, warmest, and homiest hostel I have ever stayed at. Felt like being with family and that is a blessing for a lone traveller! Oh, and an amazing breakfast and a family style barbeque on top of it all! Don’t miss this place!

The Quinta Lili is maybe not the cheapest, but in my opinion the best stay in Puerto Escondido. Relaxed location and amazing staff. One of the best stays during our mexico trip. Go there and enjoy the waves ;)

I loved my stay here. The people that I met were all interesting and nice. The breakfast in the morning was what I woke up awaiting for! It is great. I liked the location because it is by the prettiest beach in puerto escondido; it is not exactly in the main part of town, but there still is lots of restaurants to eat at nearby and an internet cafe close by as well. And Claire really went out of her way to attend to our needs. I really enjoyed my stay and felt very safe.

We love our stay here! Great location 5 mins from beach, and pool perfect to relax by when feeling lazy! Our room was amazing and felt more like being in a hotel than hostel. Claire and Luis were welcoming hosts, would definitley recommend this hostel to anyone!

would higly recommend Qunita Lili... Luis and Clair are incredibly kind hosts who go above and beyond to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable. The house is in a great location, within walking distance to a beautiful beach, a local language and surf school, and resturants and cafes. Also, i was traveling alone and felt very safe during my stay. I felt so fortunate to find this lovely hotel.

Miriam, Ireland | Couple 25-30 | 19th May 2008

If you are in Puerto Escondido this is the only place to stay. Quinta lily is just gorgeous with beautiful architecture and great outdoor breakfast bar and living area beside the pool. Claire couldn't do enough for us and we felt as if we were staying in a friends house. Its located right beside the best beach perfect for surfing and swimming. We can't recommend it enough! Quinta Lili is the ideal place to stay in Puerto Escondido. It is set back from the hustle and bustle of the town in an ideal location for the beach. The hosts are out of this world. It is more like you are staying with really good friends. Every evening (only if you wish, by no means are your forced... more

I lived in Mexico for a year and I can sincerely say that my experiences at Quinta Lili were one of the best parts of it. I had the opportunity to travel there a few times, sometimes with friends, and sometimes surfin solo. The owners and staff are good people and actually ACTUALLY care, you're not just a walking money... more

A wonderful place to rest and relax. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to a great surfing and swimming beach, and local shops and cafes. We booked for a few days, extended our stay to a week and then didn't want to leave. Claire and Luis are incredible hosts, where nothing is too much bother. They will take... more

I Spent a week at Quinta Lili It is perfect for a relaxing break. Located less than 5mins walk from the best beaches in Puerto Escondido for swimming and learning to surf. The spotlessly clean property also has a swimming pool if you want a break from the beach. within walking distance of restaurants and shops. 5mins in a taxi... more

Quinta Lili is by far the best place to stay in Puerto Escondido (we looked at all of them). The place is beautiful, cozy, warm, comfortable and really nice. It is literally a 3-4 min walk to the nicest beach in town. Staying there feels like you have your own little private beach home. We had a private ocean view... more

I had an amazing time at Quinta Lili. The house is spotlessly clean and the rooms are modern and airy. This is by far the nicest, friendliest place I stayed throughout my travels in Mexico. You can relax by the beautiful pool, or walk to the nearby swimming and surfing beach at Carrizalillo. If you would like a change from... more 13 Photos

Luis has made Quinta Lili into a little piece of paradise. Only a short walk away from a beautiful tranquil beach, real breakfast, and transport to and from the airport made this the most hassle-free, relaxing, enjoyable vacation I've ever had. With Claire as hostess you will want for nothing (She even makes great pancakes!). This is a hostal not to be missed in one of the most beautiful places in Mexico!

Best place I stayed in Mexico! Owners were incredible resources for recommendations and help with the glitches that come up in travel. I would have missed many interesting sights in P.E. and the surrounding area if it weren't for their suggestions and help. For a memorable time in P.E. Quinta Lilli is the place to stay.

This is the best hostel that I've ever stayed at (and I have stayed at quite a few)! It has a perfect location so close to Playa Carrazilillo, which is perfect for surfing and swimming - a bounty-beach! The breakfast is great to:-)

We enjoyed our stay at the quinta lili very much. The hotel reminds one of a house in a fairytale and the beach close by is awesome. The owner and his family are very nice people, he even offered us free rides.

Quinta Lili is a beautiful hostal that feels more like a small B&B. With only 4 rooms, you're sure to have a quiet and relaxing time by the pool or in your room while not at the near by beach. Incredible views of the ocean were amazing--make sure to ask for a room with a balcony. they're set up with a kitchen that has 360 degree views! gorgeous. the owners were great! I'd love to go back
